All About Pink House Concerts

What is Pink House Concerts?

It’s a series of private concerts created by Gayle and Corlie, two avid fans of live acoustic music, and held at our home in Colorado Springs, CO.  We organized our first concerts to celebrate a birthday and then an anniversary by sharing our favorite musicians with friends and family.   It was so much fun that we decided to begin hosting house concerts on a regular basis.  Although there is work involved, we don't do it alone;  much-appreciated volunteers help us make each concert a reality.

How does it work?

Our concerts are usually held on Saturday or Sunday afternoons during the summer in our back yard.  There's room for a good-sized bunch of folks and plenty of shade available under our large covered patio.  People bring their own portable chairs and a dish to share at the potluck that happens before the music.  We also ask people to bring a suggested donation for the musicians.

What happens to the money?

Pink House Concerts is a not-for-profit labor of love, with all donations going directly to the artists.  We believe they deserve support for all the hard work it takes to develop and maintain their musical skills, and for dedicating their lives to making this world a more beautiful place.

Why come to a house concert?

You’ll experience a fun gathering with a focus on listening to great acoustic music, while also enjoying good food and the company of other music-loving people. The intimate setting of a house concert allows you a chance to meet the performers and really hear their music as part of an audience that truly respects their artistry.
